PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Our high purity, high silica, sands and gravels are a natural product of the Ice Age.  The sand is sub angular and comes in many grades, meeting different specification standards and ASTM designations.

USES:

• Epoxy Systems
• Cement Mixes and Masonry Mixes
• Landscape and Decoration
• Base material under slabs and pools
• Drainage Base
• Roofing
• Sand boxes
• Ice and Snow Traction
• Pool Filters
• Weight Sand 
• Traction Grit

 

ADVANTAGES:

• Meets multiple ASTM specifications

COVERAGE:
100 pounds of sand is approximately 1 cubic foot, 1' x 1' x 1'.
50 LB will yield 6 ft² at 1” deep

PACKAGING:
Available in 80 and 50 pound multi-wall paper bags. Also available in 50 LB plastic bags.

COLOR:
All our sands and gravels are a light yellowish-tan color except for the White Sand.

CAUTION:

Sand CAS #14808-60-7. Avoid breathing dust. Prolonged exposure to dust can cause Silicosis or Scleroderma. Crystalline Silica has been classified by IARC and NPT as a carcinogen. Wear NIOSH approved mask for silica dust.  Keep Out Of Reach Of Children.

Due to the use of this product beyond our control, we assume no liability for damages of any kind, and the user accepts the product "as is" and without warranties, expressed or implied, from either Empire Blended Products, Inc. or its agents.  The suitability of the product for an intended use shall be solely up to the user.  Our only obligation shall be to replace or pay for any material proved defective, with our liability limited to the purchase price of materials supplied by us.
