PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

ALL TEMP NON-CHLORIDE is a multi-purpose admix for concrete and mortar that does not contain chlorides.  It is designed to accelerate the set time, as well as to densify, harden, improve the workability, and increase the strength development of finished mixes, thereby improving their water resistance and dust proofing qualities.  ALL TEMP NON-CHLORIDE can be safely used with gray or white Portland Cement or colored masonry products without causing discoloration.  Unlike traditional chloride based admixtures, ALL TEMP NON-CHLORIDE is non-corrosive and will not promote additional efflorescence.

USES:

• Antifreeze and water reducer for concrete and masonry
• All weather use to improve workability and performance
• Slurry coat to eliminate surface voids and improve bond

INSTALLATION:

Mixing:
ALL TEMP NON CHLORIDE can be added directly to the gauging water or added directly to the product.  Dosage rate is determined by the lowest expected temperature for a period of 48 hours following placement.

Curing:
Follow the recommendations of the Portland Cement Association for cold weather protection and curing.

Packaging:
Gallons (6 per case), 5 Gallon Pails and 55 Gallon Drums

Color:
Light green color

 

SUGGESTED PROPORTIONS:

Concrete:
Above 32EF.......... 1 gallon ALL TEMP NC per cubic yard of concrete
Below 32EF.......... 1 gallons ALL TEMP NC per cubic yard of concrete

Never use more than 2 gallons per cubic yard of concrete.  When temperature is below or expected to fall below 25EF in the 24 hour period following placement of material, supplemental heating of gauging water is essential.  At these lower temperatures, work should be additionally protected.

Premixed Gravel Mix (80 lb. bag):
Above 32EF - 1 pint ALL TEMP NC per bag
Below 32EF - 1 pint ALL TEMP NC per bag

Masonry (Portland-Lime Mortars):
Above 50EF - 1 pint ALL TEMP NC per bag
Above 32EF - 1 quart ALL TEMP NC per bag
Below 32EF - 1 quarts ALL TEMP NC per bag

Masonry (Cement Mortars):
Above 50EF -  pint ALL TEMP NC per bag
Above 32EF - 1 pint ALL TEMP NC per bag
Below 32EF - 1 quart ALL TEMP NC per bag

When temperature is below or expected to fall below 25EF in the 24 hour period following installation of brick or cement mortar applications, supplemental heating of gauging water and dry ingredients must be used.  Protect finished work from wind and rain for 24 hours after installation.

Stucco, Masonry Paints, Tile Grouts and Other Cement Based Material:
Below 32EF……….1 gallon ALL TEMP NC to 16 gallons water
Below 25EF……….1 gallon ALL TEMP NC to 12 gallons water
Below 15EF……….1 gallon ALL TEMP NC to 10 gallons water

TECHNICAL DATA:

Empire Blended ALL TEMP NON CHLORIDE meets ASTM specification C-494 for Type C Accelerating Admixtures.

LIMITATIONS:

Never combine ALL TEMP NON CHLORIDE with other admixtures.  Never add ALL TEMP NON CHLORIDE directly to the mix.  It must be mixed with water and then introduced to the mix or balling can occur.  Sand and aggregate used must be free of ice. Protect from freezing.

CAUTION:

Contains Ethylene oxide-nonylphenol polymer CAS # 9016-45-9 and Sodium Thiocyanate CAS #540-72-7.  May cause eye, skin and respiratory irritation.  Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.  Do not take internally.  If ingested, do not induce vomiting and get prompt medical attention.  If any product gets into the eye, rinse immediately and repeatedly with water.  If skin contact occurs, flush affected areas with plenty of water.  Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Keep out of reach of children.

WARRANTY:

Due to the use of this product beyond our control, we assume no liability for damages of any kind, and the user accepts the product "as is" and without warranties, expressed or implied, from either Empire Blended Products or its agents.  The suitability of the product for an intended use shall be solely up to the user.  Our only obligation shall be to replace or pay for any material proved defective, with our liability limited to the purchase price of materials supplied by us.
