PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

RAINBOW COMMERCIAL WHITING is a fine ground calcium carbonate with a broad variety of uses.  It can be used as a mild abrasive in cleaning and scouring powders for porcelain, ceramic tile and glass.  For paint, it can be used both as an extender in paint pigments, as well as an additive to paint in order to thicken the paint for increased coverage and improved hiding power.

USES:

• Mild abrasive in cleaning and scouring powders
  
• Mild abrasive in liquid polishes and tarnish removers
  
• Mild abrasive in glass cleaners
  
• Extender and thickener for paint

• Will not scratch most surfaces

APPLICATION:

Surface Preparation: 
Even though COMMERCIAL WHITING is used in cleaning and polishing compounds, it is best to
remove all excess dirt from items to be cleaned.

Coverage: 
The amount of surface area cleaned will vary with the type of mixture used and the type of surface being cleaned.

Packaging: 
Available in 1 pound boxes with sealed plastic bags (12 per carton), 5 pound boxes with sealed plastic bags (6 per carton) and 25 pound and 50 pound multiwall paper bags with moisture barrier.

LIMITATIONS:

Care should be taken not to rub too hard, as possible scratching may occur.
