PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

RAINBOW DRY ACID CRYSTALS can be used instead of Muriatic Acid to both clean and etch concrete, stone, brick and tile surfaces.  It will neutralize the alkalinity of concrete which has aged less than 6 months and will also provide a slightly rougher surface for better adhesion prior to painting.  It can also be used to remove dirt, grease, efflorescence and dry mortar from masonry and unglazed ceramic tile surfaces.

USES:

ADVANTAGES:

APPLICATION:

Surface Preparation: 
Remove all loose and powdered material from the surface with a wire brush.  Clean the surface of all dirt, grease and oil using RAINBOW TRI SODIUM PHOSPHATE.  Allow the surface to dry thoroughly.

Mixing: 
Slowly add the appropriate amount of DRY ACID CRYSTALS to warm water and stir until completely dissolved.  Use only a glass or plastic container as DRY ACID CRYSTALS will etch galvanized surfaces.

Directions: 
Apply to the surface using a stiff, fiber brush and allow it to remain on the surface for at least 20 minutes.  Flush the surface thoroughly with water and allow it to dry completely before applying paint or any other coatings.

Coverage: 
One pound of DRY ACID CRYSTALS will clean approximately 200 square feet or etch approximately 100 square feet.

Packaging: 
Available in 1 pound boxes with sealed plastic bags (12 per carton), 5 pound boxes with sealed plastic bags (6 per carton) and 25 pound and 50 pound multiwall paper bags with moisture barrier.

Color: 
White crystal, dissolves clear

SUGGESTED PROPORTIONS:

For cleaning concrete surfaces, dissolve 8 oz. DRY ACID CRYSTALS per gallon of water.

For etching concrete surfaces, dissolve 1 lb. DRY ACID CRYSTALS per gallon of water.

TECHNICAL DATA:

DRY ACID CRYSTALS are extremely corrosive.

LIMITATIONS:

Be sure to always wear rubber gloves when handling DRY ACID CRYSTALS.

CAUTION:

Contains Sulfamic Acid CAS #5329-14-6.  Causes eye burns.  Irritates nose, throat and skin.  Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.  In case of contact, flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.  For eyes, get immediate medical attention. If taken internally give 1-2 glasses of milk or water and call physician immediately. Avoid breathing dust.  Use with adequate ventilation.  Wash thoroughly after handling.  Keep Out Of Reach Of Children.

Due to the use of this product beyond our control, we assume no liability for damages of any kind, and the user accepts the product "as is" and without warranties, expressed or implied, from either Empire Blended Products or its agents.  The suitability of the product for an intended use shall be solely up to the user.  Our only obligation shall be to replace or pay for any material proved defective, with our liability limited to the purchase price of materials supplied by us.
