PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

RAINBOW ROTTEN STONE is an extremely fine abrasive powder which when mixed with oil can be used to create a hand rubbed, polished finish for dull, scratched wood surfaces.  It is used as a follow up polishing agent after a RAINBOW PUMICE STONE rubdown to achieve a higher sheen than would be possible by using just PUMICE STONE.  ROTTEN STONE can be used as a fine polishing agent for finishing painted, lacquered or varnished surfaces to a uniform high gloss, non-glare appearance. Other uses include removing tarnish and polishing pewter and other low luster metal surfaces.

APPLICATION:

Surface Preparation: 
Wood surface to be polished should be clean and thoroughly dry.

Mixing: 
No mixing is necessary..

Directions:                          Wood polish 
Saturate rubbing felt or plain soft cloth with light oil.  Dip it in ROTTEN STONE and shake off the excess.  Apply, using uniform pressure over a small area, using approximately 6-8 strokes, always rubbing with the grain of the wood.  Wipe off the excess ROTTEN STONE with a clean, oil saturated cloth.  Remove oil with a plain, dry cloth.  This will give a satiny finish.  If a gloss finish is desired, use water instead of oil.  The oil rubdown is slower than water, but both processes are very effective.  Finish the job with a final rubbing of dry ROTTEN STONE.

Directions:                          Metal Polish 
Mix ROTTEN STONE with household mineral oil or cooking oil to a creamy consistency.  Using a damp sponge or cloth, apply to metal.  Before polish dries, rinse with lukewarm water. Finish the job with a final rubbing of dry ROTTEN STONE or RAINBOW COMMERCIAL WHITING.

Coverage: 
Amount of surface area polished will vary with the type and condition of the wood and the finish desired.

Available in 1 pound boxes with sealed plastic bags (12 per carton), 5 pound boxes with sealed plastic bags (6 per carton) and 25 pound and 50 pound multiwall paper bags with moisture barrier.

LIMITATIONS:
